Mel Salmi

Mel pursued his education in applied physics, math and engineering at the University of Minnesota, and adopted St. Paul as his home. In 1975, Mel became a partner in The Transformed Tree, and purchased the business in 1976. As president of the company, his primary focus is now design/build activities and he especially likes the client interaction part of his work.

Peter Hagen

Peter joined The Transformed Tree in 1979 and is the Production Manager of the business. A graduate of Philips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, he studied architecture at the University of Minnesota and holds a BAS degree in Construction Management. He is an active member of NARI (National Association of Remodeling Industry) and past president of the Minnesota chapter.
