New space, smart solutions for family on the go

Three active kids. Two busy parents. One hectic household. The homeowners needed help figuring out how to make their home better serve their lively lifestyle. We listened, learned, and went to work. We built a 170-square-foot addition to the first-floor living space to create a larger family room and constructed attractive built-in storage for easy access to books and toys. The kitchen was reconfigured, including removing an ill-placed small bathroom. The new layout offered better flow and function, while custom cabinetry and new appliances brought an attractive update. A new powder room and first-floor laundry/mudroom are the perfect solution to accommodate countless laundry loads, muddy boots, and quick bathroom stops. All combined, the new open floorplan is highly functional, makes the most of family time, and creates space for everyone to thrive.
