Remodeled, repurposed, renewed
For this family with two small children, the kitchen was destined to be the center of activity. However, the original space was hardly suited for its impending role. The homeowners wanted a more spacious gathering spot to cook, entertain and just hang out. They also wanted more storage. As part of a 1,665-square foot, two-story addition, we created an airy new kitchen including all new custom cabinetry and windows, white subway tile backsplash, new marble countertops, new lighting, fixtures, and appliances. We “repurposed” the old kitchen space and converted it into a bright, roomy walk-through pantry with abundant storage concealed by custom cabinets. And by adding a dual-drawer dishwasher and deep sink, created a highly functional space for out-of-the-way cleanups.
