Historic home gets a modern-day update

The owners of this stately St. Anthony Park house in St. Paul, loved their home’s character but struggled with its outdated kitchen. They needed more room for their expanding family and wanted updated energy-efficient appliances, more storage, new windows, flooring, lighting and more. The key was to ensure the renovation seamlessly matched the home’s original warmth and charm.

The result is an impressive transformation. The custom-crafted cabinetry throughout the space included a handsome hutch and buffet and floor-to-ceiling storage, a new “farmer’s sink,” custom windows, doors, and intricate architectural details. All of the new elements perfectly complement the home’s historic appeal and will serve the family for years to come.
