Naturally impressive

When you have an architect in the household, and a kitchen remodel is on the wish list, chances are the result will be something distinct and highly functional. Such was the case for this 1942 home in Minneapolis’ Standish neighborhood. The owners had a vision to transform their small kitchen into a striking space that suited the home’s historic character while making the most of a limited footprint. We helped deliver on their dream. Sleek, oak custom cabinets throughout provide a stylish cover for the dual-drawer dishwasher, refrigerator, ample storage, and more. Floating wood shelves provide additional attractive storage, and it all comes together with the textured, earth-toned backsplash. We added a fun and functional front entrance space for hats and backpacks, and a custom wall cabinet to display favorite ceramic ware. The improvements give these homeowners warm and inviting spaces that effortlessly serve their family and have timeless appeal.
